Nice to meet you
Hi, I’m Mahsa,
As a UX/UI designer with a background in clinical and cognitive psychology, I bring a deep understanding of human behavior, perception, and decision-making to design. My experience as a psychotherapist has enhanced my problem-solving skills, teaching me that every user’s situation is unique and requires customized, context-aware solutions. This mindset helps me approach design challenges holistically, considering users' diverse needs, behaviors, and environments to create intuitive, human-centered experiences that enhance usability and engagement.
Now, as a graduate researcher in cognitive psychology, my research focuses on visual attention—how people perceive, prioritize, and navigate information while filtering distractors to locate targets in complex environments. This research shapes my approach to UX/UI design, enabling me to craft interfaces that reduce cognitive load, and guide users toward key actions for a smoother experience.
Years of experience as a psychologist have taught me to truly step into users' shoes, helping me create designs that not only look great but really connect with people on a deeper level.
Now, as a UX designer, I’m passionate about using what I’ve learned from psychology and research to create experiences that feel effortless and help users achieve their goals with ease.
